I just came off my last day trip of the season on the Princess of Acadia last Sunday and as always, had an excellent relaxing day across the Bay of Fundy. Not only did I travel on the Princess this year, I also got to enjoy the Confederation and Holiday Island on the Caribou-Wood Islands route as part of my maritime adventure this summer. Going to PEI on the Holiday Island was like taking a time machine back in time to when there was no Confederation Bridge linking PEI to the mainland. Coming back on the Confederation was even more of a treat with the Cows ice cream onboard (the Don Cherry ice cream was excellent!!)
In closing, it was great to have the same level of service on the NS-PEI route as the NS-NB route and I really enjoyed every minute onboard each ship this summer and making part of my Maritime adventure so much more enjoyable. I look forward to travelling aboard Bay Ferries again in 2013!
