Happy 50th birthday Bluenose II

Today marks a special milestone, the first hull of Bluenose II would have been 50 years old today.  Only a handful of items from the original hull would be on this latest incarnation, but still worth celebrating.  She was originally built for the Olands Brewing Company to promote the schooner brand beer. The province of Nova Scotia bought her in 1971 with 10 Canadian dimes.
